Our RNLI Lifeguards provide a seasonal lifeguard service on nine beaches in Newquay area.

The beaches they cover include Crantock, Fistral, Towan, Great Western, Tolcarne, Lusty Glaze, Porth, Watergate Bay, and Mawgan Porth.

During 2024 our Lifeguards were involved in 1,206 incidents, saved 7 lives and assisted a further 1,518 people. In addition, they also carried out 145,200 preventative actions, helping to ensure the safety of our beach users.

The money raised through this JustGiving page will help to ensure that our RNLI Lifeguards in Newquay area have the best equipment and training to continue to carry out their lifesaving work on their beaches.
