Roberto — soon to be lovingly known as ROTI — finally has a forever family waiting for him in the UK. After everything he has endured, his happy ending is so close. This fundraiser will help cover his flight and pet taxi costs, so he can leave Bahrain behind and begin the safe, loving life he has always deserved.

💛 Roberto’s Story

Roberto’s life began in heartbreak.

At just four months old, he was abandoned near a dumpster in a residential area — alone, starving, and in unimaginable pain. He had no mother to comfort him, no food to keep him going, and no one to protect him. His tiny body was painfully thin, covered in fleas, and his right eye was severely infected, oozing and causing him constant agony.

He was just a baby… left to suffer.

When rescuers first tried to help him, Roberto was scared of being picked up. Not because he didn’t want love — but because pain had taught him to fear it. So many people had seen him in that condition and walked past.

Until one person stopped.

And that moment changed everything.

To save his life and end his suffering, Roberto’s damaged eye had to be surgically removed. And with that, something incredible happened — the pain disappeared… and so did the fear.

The frightened little kitten who once flinched at human touch slowly began to understand that hands could be kind. That people could bring comfort, warmth, and safety.

And Roberto blossomed.

Today, he is thriving. Despite having one eye, Roberto lives life to the absolute fullest. He runs, plays, explores, and loves just like any other cat — never once aware that he is any different. His past has not defined him. His spirit is simply too strong.

Roberto is pure joy. He is affectionate, cuddly, playful, and full of curiosity. He wants to be involved in everything — following you from room to room, curling up beside you, climbing into your lap, and sharing every moment of your day.

He loves being close to his people. All he has ever wanted is to belong.

And now… he finally does.

A loving family is waiting for him in the UK — ready to welcome him, cherish him, and give him the life he should have had from the very beginning.
