Robin works as a dental surgeon in Melton Mowbray, but he has always enjoyed being active when he is not at work. Every year he likes to undertake a challenge to raise money for a charity. After trying to help a neighbour who was taken ill suddenly, Robin realised how important it is to have access to a defibrillator within ten minutes of having a cardiac arrest in order to have the best chance of trying to help them survive.

He knew about the work of the charity Heart Safe Communities UK which works to raise awareness of cardiac arrest and how to support those who have one outside of a hospital setting until the emergency services arrive.

He decided to work with Heart Safe Communities UK to raise money to install more public access defibrillators in the community.

Robin is cycling with 50 other people from Barcelona to Valencia between 29/9/23 and 5/10/23. This is a distance of 384km so please make a donation to support his efforts and make all his pains worthwhile!
