**Help Us Preserve Saltwood Village Hall**
We are The Robert Thompson Charities, a small but proud organisation that owns the historic Almshouses and Saltwood Village Hall, nestled in a beautiful conservation area of Saltwood Village. Our beloved village hall serves as the heart of Saltwood Village, providing a space for community gatherings, events, and activities.
Many of you have visited the hall to socialise, exercise, or celebrate birthdays and weddings. The hall has been a part of your lives, creating countless cherished memories.
The Hall served well to the community. Now the time has come for us to help maintain the hall. The roof made of the Kent peg tile needs a replacement. Due to our location in a conservation area, the cost of this essential maintenance is significantly higher. The estimated cost of tile replacement, roof repair, scaffolding, and under roof stained windows maintenance is £75,000.We are reaching out to our community and generous donors to help us fund this important project.
Your support will ensure that our beautiful village hall continues to serve the residents of Saltwood and nearby communities for many years to come. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in preserving this vital community space.
Thank you for all your support!
