Story

Ross lost his battle with Duchenne muscular dystrophy on 1 December 2025 at 28 years old.

He was an amazing son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin, godfather and friend.

From the moment of the initial diagnosis we decided as a family that we would do whatever was needed to help Ross live a full life and he embraced this wholeheartedly. He had such a positive impact on everyone who met him. Ross would have a go at everything in life, and there were so many different people who helped make sure this happened.

His love of sport and music meant that he was a season ticket holder at Spurs, owned race horses and went to numerous concerts and festivals locally and abroad.

He never complained and never saw himself as anything but a young man with ambitions and dreams. Ross’ positive outlook on life was helped by a friend, who was also in a wheelchair, when she took Ross to London on public transport on their own. It made Ross, and us, realise that limits are only set by ourselves.

This fund is for us to continue his legacy and memory because he was so loved and is so missed.
