Story
Rotary Cycling for all Festival
This campaign is being managed by the Rotary Club of Worcester on behalf of all the Rotary Clubs in Worcestershire.
Your donation will go towards the purchase of adapted cycles (bicycles) for PALS adaptive cycling and supporting other Worcestershire cycling charities.
The Festival is a vibrant celebration of inclusivity in cycling which includes biking activities, workshops, fun challenges, and competitions.
Our team have brought together interested parties including Cycling Clubs, Cycle Stars, Cycling with PALS adapted bikes, as well as Competitive Cyclists and Cycling groups.
Our mission is to involve our community and the public, to promote the advantages of cycling with a view of making this an annual event.
Our aims and objectives are:
To demonstrate that cycling is inclusive for all, no matter what disabilities
To improve fitness and mental welfare
To promote environmental benefits of cycling
To promote individual, family and group fun through cycling
To raise awareness of all the cycling facilities and organisations in Worcestershire and surrounding areas
Also, we are encouraging local cycle retailers to become involved, and other local cycling organisations and cycle clubs. They can have the opportunity to have a stand at the event too.
Evesham VeloPark has something for everyone, for people of all abilities. There is a 1km closed road circuit, Pump Track, Learn to Ride Track, Cyclo-Cross track, an all-ability circuit for riders with disabilities on adapted bikes.
