Story
A hospital stay for a child can be an incredibly daunting experience, filled with unfamiliar sights, sounds, and sensations. It's not just the child who feels the fear; parents and guardians share in the anxiety as they watch their loved one navigate through medical procedures and clinical environments. That's why we believe it's essential to bring sensory experiences into hospitals to alleviate these fears and provide moments of comfort and respite.
The Sensory Voyager offers a much-needed break away from the clinical setting, offering a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and touch to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. With your help, we can transform the hospital experience for children and their families, turning moments of apprehension into opportunities for joy and distraction.

Please support your local hospitals charity walk alongside our NHS to do more for our young families across East Lancashire. With you, all for you.
Part of the paediatric team walked from Royal Blackburn to Darwen tower on Sunday 9 June - thank you to everyone who supported them in raising sponsorship.
