Since 2010, Abigail’s Footsteps has been dedicated to transforming the way bereaved parents are supported during the most unimaginable loss. What began as a mission to improve hospital care has grown into a lifeline for families across the UK.

We work tirelessly to ensure grieving parents receive the compassion and dignity they deserve. From creating quiet, sympathetic spaces in hospitals to providing specialist equipment that allows parents precious time with their babies, every detail matters. These moments – though heartbreakingly short – offer families the chance to say goodbye in a way that feels gentle and loving.

But our support doesn’t end there. Through specialist baby loss counselling, we help parents navigate the overwhelming grief that follows, offering hope and healing when it feels impossible. We also train midwives and healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the knowledge and empathy to care for families with sensitivity and respect.
