The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, founded in 1923, has over 11,000 members in a network of Branches and Affiliated Groups worldwide. Working with talented musicians, they organise local dance events, classes, and teaching workshops to promote “fun, fitness and friendship” amongst dancers.

Story

Taking place on 11th August, the last day of our annual Summer School in St Andrews, this is the perfect opportunity to don your kilt and help raise funds for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

Kiltwalk funds will be used to provide schools across Scotland with the resources and support they need so children can enjoy a traditional activity that has proven physical, mental and social benefits, while at the same time getting active and having fun!

Join us on the Mighty Stride, 21.5 miles from St Andrews to Dundee or The Wee Wander, 5.5 miles and perfect for the whole family.
