As part of our annual get together, The Rod Stewart Fan Club always select a chosen charity to raise funds for over the course of the weekend.

This year, we have selected a charity that truly is, in Sir Rod's heart, the charitable arm of Celtic Football Club, Celtic FC Foundation.

Celtic Football Club was formed in 1887 with the purpose of raising money for the poor in the East End of Glasgow. The vision of the Founding Fathers continues to this day through our work at Celtic FC Foundation.

They aim to help those living in poverty through a range of initiatives targeting hunger, employability, social inclusion and education.

Celtic FC Foundation is open to all and their project delivery tackles poverty and includes the excluded. They serve communities locally in Glasgow, throughout the UK and Ireland, and internationally in locations in Africa, Asia and North America.

Contributions made by the Fan Club at the Big Weekend will allow the Foundation to support the most vulnerable.
