The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileMum-to-be Isabella needed an emergency C-section late one Saturday night when, after giving birth to black female kitten Polly, the second kitten got stuck. The vets safely delivered two grey male kittens Ronnie and Rege, but the life-saving operation cost us £1200.
Isabella is a brilliant mother, not only ably feeding and caring for Polly, Ronnie and Rege, but she has also taken on little orphan black kitten Buddy, feeding him and treating him as one of her own kittens!
Beautiful grey cat Isabella was rescued as a stray by the RSPCA. She was found to be seven weeks pregnant on arrival and went straight to one of our fabulous fosterers, so she could receive the 24 hour care she needed.
Isabella has already found her new forever home. When her kittens no longer need her she will leave our care. She was neutered at the same time as her C-section, as we neuter all adult cats in our care to prevent more unwanted litters. All her kittens are already allocated to people on the Cat Hub's kitten waiting list which, due to high demand, is closed at present.
We are very be grateful for any help you can give us right now to help pay for the emergency surgery which saved three lives! Any money we raise above our target will help pay for vet treatment needed by other Cat Hub cats. Thank you!
Based in Darlington and supported by local branches of the RSPCA, the Cat Hub is one of the most successful cat rehoming centres in the country, finding happy, new forever homes for more than 250 cats and kittens a year. The Cat Hub is administered by RSPCA Darlington and District Branch.
