Chicken Coop Fundraising Appeal

Can you help us to raise £500 for a new purpose built chicken coop, to house a number of poorly chickens that we have taken into our care? These animals have parasite burden and need to be quarantined while we nurse them back to health. Thank You!

Little Valley Animal Shelter is owned and run by the Devon Branch of the RSPCA and is located on the outskirts of Exeter. We receive no funding from the RSPCA national society towards our day to day running costs, this all has to be met from donations and local fundraising.

Story

We need help to raise funds for a new, purpose built, plastic chicken coop to help a number of poorly chickens which have taken into our care.

Currently they are suffering with parasite burden and as you can see from the images, they are looking rather sorry for themselves. We will be nursing them back to full health, but to do this, we need your help to fund the purchase of a brand new plastic chicken house for them to live in.

A plastic chicken house means that it can be cleaned and disinfected much easier, to ensure any parasites don't stick around. They are pretty expensive but we hope that with some People Power, we can raise enough to buy one in no time!

Your help is very much appreciated and will help give these birds a really good chance of making a full recovery so that they can go to a brand new forever home.

Thank you!
