Barbara McDonnell known to us all as Chris very sadly lost her battle to Coronavirus. She had been a major part of RSPCA Wirral for a number of years and gave most of her spare time in the charity shop here at the Animal Centre. She has raised many thousands of pounds for the animals who where a huge part of her life. She was everyones friend so long as they were kind to animals, but could be seen chasing after anyone who came in who wasnt so kind. She always had raffles on the go and any poor unsuspecting soul was not allowed to leave until they had bought some of her tickets. It has been an honour and privilege to know such a special caring lady and she holds a place in all our hearts. She will be terribly missed by us all. RIP Chris
