2020 has been one of the toughest and most challenging years in our 82 year history. We've worked tirelessly to rebuild and transform our old centre in Hull through a pandemic, whilst continuing our vital rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work in the community. It's been tough, but we wouldn't be where we are now without our wonderful supporters.
Sadly this year we're not able to organise our popular Santa Paws Walk, Christmas Fayre and community collections so we're reaching out to you, to help us create a magical Christmas for all the vulnerable animals in our centre and foster care including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. No animal deserves to spend Christmas - or any other time - in a rescue centre, but we try our best to make them as comfortable, happy and loved as possible.
Here's some ideas of how you can help this Christmas -
Donate £2 for training treats to support our dog rehabilitation or towards a tasty Christmas dinner
Donate £5 to pay for good quality hay this winter to keep our bunnies nice and warm or towards a bumper Christmas feast and toy
Donate £10 to help towards our heating bill and keep the winter chills away or pay for a stocking from Santa Paws filled with Christmas treats and goodies
Donate £20 for a New Year health check with the vet
Donate £50 - to support "12 days of Christmas care"
If we can raise our target of £2,000 or more, we can ensure our animals have the most amazing Christmas and give them the best possible chance of a new start in our care.
As we approach the end of the year, and with your help, we look forward to a more positive and exciting 2021 as we build a new future for our animals at Clough Road.
Why not help an animal in need this Christmas?
Thank you and a Merry Christmas from all the team at Clough Road.
