Visit the charity's profileOn Sunday 9 June 2024, we will run 5k, 10k or a half-marathon in the beautiful Richmond Park, London, to raise money to provide safe drinking water to children attending the primary school of Beng Mealea, in rural Cambodia for the next school year 2024-25.
1001fontaines UK is a charity providing sustainable safe drinking water solutions for vulnerable communities in Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Madagascar.
Their work has a huge impact on health, education, the environment and the local economies by reducing water-related diseases, improving school attendance, offsetting carbon emission and providing stable jobs in remote rural areas.
Our goal is to create a community of 1001fontaines friends and ambassadors in the UK and to raise funds for their Water in School programme.
