On Sunday 8th October, individual runners and teams from across the news and media industry are taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of the Rory Peck Trust and freelance journalists globally.

Journalists all over the world take great risks to share the stories that the world wouldn't otherwise hear. Right now, we are witnessing an attack on democracy and journalists are being wounded, imprisoned, forced into exile and killed as a result of their work.

All funds raised by our dedicated runners will go to the Rory Peck Trust and its work supporting, training and protecting freelance journalists so they can continue their work, contributing to international newsgathering and upholding our democratic freedoms.
