Run Kids Run is back! On the 25th of June 2023, Drayton Park kids (including the littlest ones!) will run 2km around and around Highbury Fields and they need you to sponsor them!

Last year, Drayton Park PTA collected over £2000 which was doubled by the organisers. The £4,000 were spent by the school on sport equipment for all year groups, attending 10+ sport competitions, outdoor activities during Year 6 residential trip and many other little things to encourage our kids to be active

This year, we’ve set a fairly ambitious (but hopefully achievable!) target of £5,000. All sponsorship that we raise is going to be doubled by the brilliant organisers of Run Kids Run, and their charitable foundation, right up to £5,000 of matched funding

If you have a friend, family member, colleague or neighbour who can offer £1 sponsorship, this will be worth £2 to the school - closer to £2.50 if they're a UK taxpayer and gift aid comes into play, so if they can stretch to £20 sponsorship it'll deliver £50 to make the school better for all. Every little bit will deliver disproportionate value

Monies raised will once again cover coaching, competitions and outdoor activities that aren't possible without funding beyond the school's budget. In addition, we aim to invest in long-term improvements to the EYFS playground, making outdoor play more fun, active and beneficial
