Story
Help Sudan’s Survivors Access Justice – Stand for Human Rights
Right now, countless survivors of the conflict in Sudan are suffering in silence. Women, children, and entire communities have faced unimaginable violence, forced displacement, and loss. Many have endured atrocities, including conflict-related sexual violence and ethnic persecution. Yet, for too many, dignity and justice remain out of reach.
At Rights for Peace, we work to ensure that survivors can tell their stories safely, can regain dignity and agency by becoming advocates for their rights and can see perpetrators held to account. But we can’t do this alone—we need your help.
Why your help matters:
The ongoing conflict in Sudan broke out on 15 April 2023. Since then, over 12 million people have been forcibly displaced, making this one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. More than 25 million people—almost half of Sudan’s population—are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, facing famine, lack of medical care, and ongoing violence.
Without advocacy and justice efforts, their suffering remains invisible, and those responsible continue to commit atrocities with impunity.
Your donation will help:
- Provide survivors with information and access to justice mechanisms.
- Support evidence collection and documentation of violations.
- Advocate for accountability at regional and international levels.
- Empower survivors through psychological and social support.
