This is a race that our late founder, Jess King, had been trying to organise for some time and whilst she sadly is not with us to experience it, we hope to honour her memory and raise plenty of funds for SCUFF so we can continue to grow and improve our service as she would've wanted.
Scar Cover Up Freedom Fund (SCUFF) has 3 main aims:
1) To provide funding for tattoos to cover scars left by self-harm
2) To provide training, education and support those who are working with, supporting or living with people who self-harm
3) To support and help those who are struggling with self-harm
We are currently seeking funding with the primary aim of increasing staff hours, enabling us to put more time into growing and developing our charity. In addition to this we are in the process of developing our training courses with the aim to create online courses that can be accessed remotely, increasing the accessibility of SCUFF's services. Furthermore, funds raised could also help us provide more funding for tattoo cover ups of self-harm scars so we can reduce our waiting list and help more people.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
