The Joshua Tree is a charity dedicated to providing support to families affected by childhood cancers. We offer tailored emotional and practical assistance to families across the North West of England and North Wales. Our services are designed to help improve the wellbeing of families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and bereavement, ensuring that no family faces their journey alone.
Our family-focused support extends to parents, siblings, and the children themselves, recognising the profound impact cancer has on every family member. We offer a range of services, including counselling, therapeutic activities, peer support groups, family fun events and educational guidance.
Our support centres in Cheshire and Colwyn Bay are welcoming, safe spaces where families can access tailored support designed to uplift and empower them during difficult times.
Driven by compassion and a commitment to making a difference, The Joshua Tree relies on the generosity of supporters, volunteers, and corporate partnerships to continue delivering vital services. Together, we create lasting memories, emotional resilience and brighter futures for families facing childhood cancers.
Our Northwich and Nantwich 10k events are proudly sponsored by Ornua Ingredients Europe, headquartered just outside Nantwich town at the former F.J Needs site, home to a state-of-the-art cheese cutting, grating, and slicing facility. There, they craft beloved brands like Pilgrims Choice and Spinneyfields® cheese. Serving the ever-growing Foodservice and Food Ingredient markets in the UK, Ornua is a global player and proud owner of the famous Kerrygold butter brand.
