The mission of Home-Start Cambridgeshire is to give every child in Cambridgeshire the best possible start in life.

Across our county, families with pre-school age children (0-4) are facing challenges such as mental health issues, isolation, poverty, disability, bereavement, domestic abuse, multiple births, traumatic births - the list goes on. Many families have multiple, complex needs. Thresholds for statutory services and support are ever increasing and so we are there for families, often when no-one else is.

Our non-judgemental, confidential suite of support options includes weekly volunteer led home-visiting, group family work, remote support & a specialist parent-child relationship therapy provision. We invest time in truly understanding the circumstances of each family so that we can tailor a support plan to deliver impactful outcomes. We empower parents with the confidence, skills and knowledge to raise their children to flourish whilst balancing the management of their own health & wellbeing needs.
