Thank you for supporting us. We help people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's Disease and stroke survivors by offering a number of life changing and supportive therapies and treatments enabling them to live their best lives.

Story

We're a therapy centre that hosts hundreds of members each week- these are people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), which is a neurological condition that can affect a person's vision, mobility and balance, amongst other things.

Each week our Centre welcomes a community of local people to receive life-enhancing treatment which, alongside our other support, empowers them to live longer and happier lives.

In the last 12 months we've had to adapt the way our services are delivered, moving lots of our sessions online including physio therapy, our therapeutic leisure group activities and counselling. Some of our services such as oxygen treatment, hydrotherapy and acupuncture were paused completely.

However, multiple sclerosis can't be paused. It's estimated over 1,200 people live with MS in the Chilterns area and we need your help to empower each and every person, carer and family member affected by this condition to live their lives to the full.

Your support in taking on a 5k, 10k or 15k run with our community virtually helps us to continue to be there for our members in person and online, when community is needed more than ever.

My MS doesn't stop me...Doing a lot of things, it just puts obstacles in my way. Tasks take longer for me and often need a bit more planning. Fatigue reduces the amount of time and effort I put into activities but with management techniques and again a bit of forward planning things can be done at a pace that suits me. I am sure a positive attitude to life, physiotherapy, oxygen therapy and help and support from my local MS Centre are keeping my Secondary Progressive MS in check. I have MS - MS doesn't have me.
