Our team of fundraisers will be taking on an epic four day challenge trekking across the Sahara Desert to raise funds to support families and their loved ones.
In February 2025 this fantastic team will be lacing up their walking boots and putting on the factor fifty all in aid of supporting patient care.
We'll be in Morocco for a four day trek through the ever-changing landscape of the most famous desert in the world. The team will summit the Chigaga Dunes – the highest dunes in the Sahara and witness the desert sunrise. Follow camels through the dunes and sleep under the stars in traditional camps.
This is an incredible challenge to take on, and each participant has pledged to raise £2,500 to support the Hospice. This could fund over 50 hours of care from a nurse each, helping make sure that local patients get the care, support and advice they need most during the most difficult times.
The care every member of staff showed my daughter and myself was exemplary. They responded every time she needed help, whether medication, reassurance, or comfort, both at her home and at the Inpatient Unit... I will never forget the kindness shown towards us by St Peter's Hospice.
