MLSS Winter Vigil & Seva 2026
26th & 27th December 2026
2 Nights. One Sangat. One Purpose.
This December, MLSS Projects UK is bringing the Sangat together for a special overnight Winter Vigil & Seva in remembrance of Chote Sahibzade, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji.
We will come together to remember their Shaheedi, learn about their sacrifice and spend the night in Kirtan, Sikh history, remembrance and Seva.
This is not a sleepout. The night will continue with activities, Kirtan and programmes throughout, giving families and the Sangat the opportunity to come together and remember.
TWO LOCATIONS – ONE SANGAT
The event will take place across two locations:
26th December – Guru Nanak Gurdwara, West Bromwich Street, Caldmore, Walsall, WS1 4DE 27th December – Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Great Barr, Aldridge Road, Birmingham, B44 8BH - 6pm till 6am
The aim is to bring the Sangat together across both locations for one shared purpose.
WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING
As well as remembering the Shaheedi of the Chote Sahibzade and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji, we want to turn remembrance into Seva.
Funds raised will support Granthi Singhs and their families in Punjab, as well as the ongoing charitable work of MLSS Projects UK.
Many Granthi Singhs dedicate their lives to Gurbani, Gurmat and serving the Sangat, often with very limited financial support.
Funds raised will help towards:
🏠 House construction and essential repairs
🏥 Medical expenses
💍 Support towards daughters' Anand Karaj
🤝 Essential support for Granthi Singh families
Funds will also help MLSS Projects UK continue its work supporting people in need and delivering community and humanitarian projects.
GET INVOLVED
We want this to be more than just an event.
We want the whole Sangat to be part of it.
You can support us by:
🙏 Taking part in the Winter Vigil
💷 Making a donation
🏃 Organising your own fundraiser
📣 Sharing this page with family and friends
🤝 Encouraging your children and grandchildren to get involved
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help us turn the remembrance of Shaheedi into meaningful Seva.
BRING THE NEXT GENERATION
We especially encourage Nanis, Dadis, grandparents, parents and young people to take part.
It is an opportunity to spend time together, learn about the history of the Chote Sahibzade and help the next generation understand the importance of Shaheedi, Seva and our responsibility towards the Panth.
Remember the Shaheedi.
Experience a small hardship.
Support a lifelong Sevadaar.
Please join us, donate what you can and help us spread the word.
Let's come together this December and turn remembrance into Seva.
