Repeated leaks of the flat roof of the ghusl facilities had caused significant damage to the interior of the ghusl khana. Through your generous donations the roof phase of the project has been completed and work has commenced on the interior.

Events such as Covid-19 highlighted the need to update and modernise our existing facilities to meet current standards, and for the facilities to be adaptable for future circumstances.

The ghusl facilites have been designed to provide dedicated bathing and shrouding zones, featuring equipment manufactured to the highest standards, including:

- Ceiling hoist

- Stainless steel wash table with privacy cover

- Shrouding table

- Portable refrigerated coffin

Performing the final rites of the deceased with ease, privacy, respect and dignity have been key to the planning and design of the facilities, with the ability to accommodate additional equipment in the future should the need arise.
