Sarah, the director of Salusbury World is passionate about cycling, so passionate she wants everyone to learn to cycle. Walking past Salusbury School you can sometimes see groups of children or adults being taught to cycle at one of Salusbury World's cycling workshops.
So when Sarah was told the www.kensalqueenspark.com community group was supporting local schools and charities to enter the Blenheim Palace Triathlon there was no stopping her, she was on board immediately dragging a team of staff, volunteers, trustees and clients with her, wetsuits have been borrowed, bikes are being serviced and the training has begun. None of us have completed a triathlon before so please consider a donation to give us some incentive to get out there and train a bit harder.
We'll update you with photos on this page as soon as they are available.
Salusbury World is 20 years old this year. and for the past 20 years we have been supporting refugee and migrant children and their families with after school clubs, homework clubs, one on one mentoring, advice and advocacy, English lessons for adults and cycling lessons amongst other things.
Salusbury World costs around £250,000 to run every year. These services are delivered by 9 full time or part time professionals with the help of over 100 specially trained volunteers. We receive no Government funding. Your donations will help us carry on the important we do for refugees and migrant children and their families.
