Brighton Pride Parade

Samaritans taking part in the Brighton Pride Parade is a vital and fun investment raising awareness that we serve all communities. However, it comes at a cost to the branch. A small donation will help to offset these costs.

We at Samaritans Brighton Hove and District support people in distress or despair. We listen day and night, 365 days a year, supporting 2000+ callers a month. We work in our community with those most vulnerable to suicide. We are all volunteers (no paid staff) and need £165 a day to keep open.

Story

The Brighton & Hove Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade 2024 will be on Saturday 3rd August with the theme ‘JOY – Celebrating Life • Spirit • Resilience’ .

Samaritans is dedicated to raising awareness that our service is available for all communities.

Samaritans’ participation in the Brighton Pride Parade is an invaluable show of support for the LGBTQ+ and wider communities across the South-East region. We value and enjoy being part of this Parade and celebration.

Taking part is a vital and fun investment however it comes at a cost of £600 to the branch. To help offset these costs, we are suggesting a small donation of £5, £10 or £20.

Thank you for supporting Samaritans.
