Sam Curley loved The Hive, and The Hive loved her.
Sam dedicated her life to transforming the lives of young people in Wirral.
Having spent 15 years as the volunteer co-ordinator at Wirral Youth Offending Service, Sam began her special relationship with The Hive, recruiting and training an army of volunteers to support her vision of transforming the lives of young people in Wirral.
Sam ensured that others were always put first, and her desire to make a difference was irrepressible. Sam's mission was simply to inspire and engage everybody to be the best that they could be, and her kind and caring nature undoubtedly changed the lives of countless young people from across the region.
Everybody at The Hive was devastated to lose Sam in October 2018.
This fund will serve as a proud continuation of Sam's work, empowering young people to follow their dreams. If a young person has an opportunity to change their lives, develop their talents or take a once in a lifetime opportunity, but are unable to do so due to financial constraints, this fund will ensure that they are able to take these opportunities and transform their lives.
Sam Curley changed the lives of so many young people, and this fund will ensure that she continues to do so for many years to come.
