The Brunei Stables Saddle Club, once part of The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, was devastated by the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The impact was profound, and unfortunately, this led to the ponies being moved to Larkhill and the eventual dissolution of the club. However, thanks to the unwavering support of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and The Armed Forces Equine Charity, a new chapter began.

In 2023, with the help of both RMAS and AFEC, a new welfare facility was established. Under the umbrella of The Armed Forces Equine Charity, The Sandhurst Equestrian Centre was born.

The Centre provides invaluable services, from riding lessons for children to life-changing Equine Therapy sessions for veterans and others in need. Currently, the Centre hosts the Sandhurst RDA group, which works alongside the Armed Forces Equine Charity to offer veterans a path to recovery through horses - allowing them to heal, rebuild confidence, and find hope again.

But the journey is far from over. The Centre is still growing, and to expand its offerings, more horses and resources are required. Lessons for adults are on the horizon, but to make that a reality, we need your help.

Running this facility is expensive, and it relies entirely on the generosity of supporters like you.
