Organised by Barnsley Hospital CharityGeoff, our colleague from Barnsley Facilities Services was inspired by the charity coldwater dips in April and October this year. Being a swimmer at Manvers Lake he has decided to do a festive dip to raise funds for Barnsley Hospital Charity.

I am supporting the Make A Memory Appeal to raise funds for older patients and those living with dementia.
The funds raised will help to transform the care of the elderly ward to support older patients and those living with dementia.
I will be dipping and swimming in Manvers Lake on 27 December with my grandson, Zak as many of you are finishing off the Christmas leftovers!
