We invite you all to participate in a powerful and meaningful event, Reclaim the Night, which will take place on 25th November 2024 in Hanley.
This special evening is a fundraiser for Savana, a specialist charity dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Together, we will raise much-needed funds while standing in solidarity with those affected and raising awareness about the right of women to feel safe in public spaces, especially at night.
For too long, many women have lived in fear of walking alone after dark. Reclaim the Night is both a protest and a celebration of empowerment. By taking part, you will help us send a strong message: women should be able to move freely and safely in our cities, without fear or intimidation. On 25th November, millions across the globe will be marking the annual United Nations Day to End Violence Against Women with demonstrations and marches. Savana will be bringing the march back to Stoke and reminding everyone the problem hasn’t gone away, it isn’t acceptable and services for those affected need support.
Event Details:
• Date: Monday 25th November 2024
