Bron was taken to a vets to possibly be euthanised because he was growling and showing protective behaviours. The vets knew he had a ruptured cruciate ligament from some months before and wanted to help him.
Bron had likely been in pain, and along with his specific breed traits, which are primarily as a guarding breed, led to an unmanageable situation in his home. This vet practice who have known Bron since a puppy would not put down an otherwise healthy dog, without repairing his leg and giving him a fair assessment whilst pain free.
The vets came to us for help, they would keep him pain free and neuter him - he has already been used as a stud dog sadly- and would perform the cruciate repair for a hugely discounted £1000.
So here we are trying to fund raise for Bron's surgery. Bron has been kept comfortable on pain relief in a large kennel at the vets and has been a good boy throughout.
Help us save Bron. He doesn't deserve the end that may have been had we not said we would try and help. He deserves to have his surgery and lead a pain free life with owners experienced with the breed.
