Mums In Need Is At Breaking Point – We Need Your Help
Mums In Need (MIN) is a vital lifeline for mothers navigating the trauma of post-separation abuse.
Today, we are being open and vulnerable: we are facing a short term funding crisis. Without immediate financial support, we risk the heartbreaking reality of closing our services this March.
While we have funding grants due in April 2026, we face a £12,500 shortfall in March. Our goal is to raise a minimum of £12,500 by Monday 2nd March 2026. If we do not reach this goal, we may be forced to reduce or close our services.
Nearly 70 families currently rely on Mums In Need. For the women we support, MIN is the only organisation that truly understands the complexities of coercive control and post-separation abuse.
Closing our doors would leave these mothers, and their children, facing a frightening and isolating journey without the specialist support they urgently need and deserve, and which only we can deliver.
We are asking our community, our friends, and anyone who believes that no woman should face abuse alone, to help us bridge this funding gap to April, and hopefully beyond.
Every donation we receive will go directly toward core staffing and essential services.
We have already had to make the heartbreaking decision to close our waiting list to new referrals. Without immediate financial support, we face the reality of closing our existing services entirely this March. Please help us to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Thank you for standing with Mums In Need.
Unable to donate? Please share this appeal with individuals, community groups and businesses. Your voice could help us continue to provide the lifeline for mothers that we’ve spent years building.
