Life Saving Surgery for Spud

Spud is a 9 month old Jack Russell x who has a post systemic liver shunt requiring life saving surgery. Without an operation Spud will not have a future. We have almost lost him on several occasions and now we need to give him a future.

we are a small independent Charity based in South Wales, who try to help animals in need, mainly dogs, cats and rabbits that are unwanted or vulnerable then find them loving forever homes. We are very proud of our non-destruct policy

Story

Spud was handed in last year as a very poorly puppy. Our wonderful vets carried out many tests and little puppy Spud was hospitalised on several occasions when we almost lost him. He was referred to The Ralph in Marlow who following a scan were able to diagnose that Spud has a liver shunt. He was quite poorly at the time so we have had to wait for him to be stable to allow the surgery to go ahead. Today he will be admitted to have surgery on Thursday. Please help us give this pup the chance of the life he deserves.
