The Parish of Baildon is part of the Church of England and has three churches – St John’s, St James’ and St Hugh’s. Our Churches serve the community in many ways: being there for important family occasions, regular worship, fellowship and important work in the wider community.

Story

It's great that St James is being increasingly used for community hub events, but public access to a defibrillator is lacking in this community.

Did you know that in the event of a cardiac arrest use of a defibrillator with resuscitation increases the rate of survival from 2% to 74%!?

We are fundraising towards to £2000 target to purchase a £1600 defibrillator, plus heated cabinet and upkeep.

Thank you, your gift could be potentially lifesaving.
