On Thursday 24 September 2026, organisations from across Birmingham will come together for the inaugural Sport Birmingham Corporate & Community Padel Championship.

Bringing together businesses, charities, community organisations and social enterprises, the Championship is an opportunity to build new connections, strengthen partnerships and enjoy some friendly competition, all while supporting an incredible cause.

Alongside the event, we're inviting supporters to help us raise funds for Sport Birmingham's Make A Difference (M.A.D.) Birmingham programme. Every donation made through this page will directly support our work with young people across Birmingham.

About M.A.D. Birmingham

M.A.D. (Make A Difference) Birmingham exists to help young people overcome challenges, build confidence and create brighter futures.

Working alongside schools, families and community organisations, we provide early intervention and tailored support that helps young people engage positively in education, develop important life skills and build stronger connections within their communities.

Our programmes include:

Mentoring and one-to-one support

Social skills programmes

Holiday activities

Targeted interventions for young people who need additional support

By creating positive experiences and trusted relationships, we're helping young people develop the confidence and resilience they need to thrive.

Every donation helps us continue delivering meaningful support to young people across Birmingham.

Through M.A.D. Birmingham:

Hundreds of young people have already benefited from mentoring, social skills programmes and targeted interventions.

The vast majority of participants report improved confidence, wellbeing and resilience after taking part.

Young people consistently tell us they feel listened to, valued and better equipped to manage life's challenges.

We work closely with schools and local organisations to provide support before problems escalate.

Almost every participant says they would recommend M.A.D. Birmingham to others.

Beyond the classroom, M.A.D. creates opportunities for young people to discover new experiences, develop new skills and broaden their aspirations, helping them build positive futures.
