Story
South Central Ambulance Charity works hard every year to raise funds and awareness so that we can continue to fund services, projects and equipment that are not supplied by Government NHS Funding. As an NHS ambulance charity, we have a key focus on Community First Responders (CFRs) and community life saving equipment and knowledge. These areas provide a real benefit to patients, firstly by enabling the right resource to reach the patient as quickly as possible and secondly to ensure that those in our communities have the skills and knowledge to step forward and help others when faced with an emergency.
By supporting South Central Ambulance Charity, you are enabling us to continue the support we give to frontline crews, CFRs, Welfare Volunteers and Volunteer Car Drivers which in turn enhances the patient care SCAS is able to provide. How your fundraising helps:
£12 - A new polo for a volunteer
£110 - Tympanic Thermometer for our CFR kit bags.
£79 - Pays for the use of our welfare vehicles for a day.
£350 - Allows us to continue to support and equip a current volunteer Community First Responder for a year.
£1,300 - A new defibrillator
