Everyone deserves a fair chance at success. That’s why Standard Chartered Foundation supports underserved young people. We help tackle inequality by empowering young people, especially women and people with disabilities, to secure decent work, create jobs and contribute to their communities.

Story

Futuremakers is our global youth economic empowerment initiative, tackling inequality and promoting greater economic inclusion.

Launched in 2019 and delivered in partnership with the Standard Chartered Foundation, we support young people to learn new skills and improve their chances of getting a job or starting their business.

We prioritize two target groups: disadvantaged young women age 15 – 35 and microbusinesses, with disability inclusion as a cross-cutting theme.

Your support will go towards creating 140,000 jobs by 2030 by:

-> Empowering 70,000 disadvantaged young women to gain skills and sustainable employment

-> Supporting entrepreneurs building microbusinesses to create 70,000 jobs for their communities
