I've been involved with Scene & Heard since 2015 when I interned during my semester abroad in London. In 2019, I made my way back across the Atlantic to join the staff as Arts Officer. My role involves establishing relationships with the children, families, and volunteers which helps to form the foundation of each child's progress.

The sponsorship you give us today will enable Scene & Heard to run playwriting and acting courses, produce the words of children and young people into plays of a professional standard, and support the future of the Somers Town community.

I am running because I have seen first-hand the impact our work has on the children and families of Somers Town. In sitting and chatting with a Member Playwright, usually while eating a Jammy Dodger, we embrace the gifts and individuality of each child and funnel that into a play and a performance that is uniquely, unequivocally theirs.
