Schnauzerfest 2020 is a nationwide series of walks for schnauzers, their humans and other canine friends. From small walks to larger ones, each takes place with two aims FUN and FUNdraising. All dogs who enjoy being sociable are welcome on Schnauzerfest walks.
Donations to Schnauzerfest directly pays for the veterinary treatment for dogs saved from puppy farms and other bad backgrounds.
Many of these dogs require expensive veterinary treatment before they can be found loving homes. Schnauzerfest support makes this possible by providing a financial lifeline for those caring for such dogs.
As well as raising money for rescue dogs, at the heart of Schnauzerfest is a commitment to raising awareness of the cruel world of puppy farming. Your donations support this vital work.
Some dogs have had their stories feature in the media, like Bella and Mabel, in the photo above, whose inspirational story can be read here - 'Adopting A Dog Helped Me Through My Grief'.
Over the years Schnauzerfest funding has paid for specialist treatment for a high number of dogs. The stories of many can be found on our website under 'Dogs We Have Helped'.
Taking part in Schnauzerfest 2020 is a great way to help us continue to support excellent rescue work, to transform the lives of dogs and to educate people about the wider issues around pet ownership today.
