As part of FOSS, we have been asking our teachers and school staff for their “wish list” - something we have done in the past, giving the teachers the opportunity to really think about their space and their needs and for them to feel the support from the parent community. This year, instead of having a wish list by year, the teachers have come up with a bigger wish for the school - To create a dedicated science and art teaching space within our school to improve the quality of teaching and learning in science and inspire young scientists and artists. So we are launching our just giving campaign to help this wish come true - we are aiming to raise enough funds to reimagine the space and give our kids the opportunity to get excited about science. Having this learning space will give the children the space to run experiments, to do practical work and to put science at the front of their curriculum.
