Its back! For the first time since 2019, Friends of Sciennes School are hosting the ever popular Swimathon in order to raise funds to benefit each and every child at Sciennes. Our target is to raise £8,000 from sponsorship with the exciting news that we have received a pledge from a private donor to match the amount raised (up to £10,000), doubling our total! This is an incredible opportunity to provide a huge boost to our fundraising efforts so please give generously!

Children will have the opportunity to swim as many lengths/breadths of the pool as they can in a specified time. Please sponsor what you can to support them in their efforts!

Over the years, Swimathon fundraising has paid for playground improvements, cultural enrichment activities and visits, along with excursions and whole year trips (including funded places for the Benmore and Lagganlia camps) at Sciennes Primary School. Our current funding commitments include providing funding for outdoor learning, lower school equipment, cycle training and swimming lessons and continued financial support to help all children participate in excursions and trips.

The Swimathon is great fun, popular with the children and something of a Sciennes Primary tradition!
