Today we are celebrating our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY

We couldn’t have helped so many cats and kittens in the area - and beyond without your massive support as a Community and of course the dedication of our volunteers. As one of our supporters has recently said ‘We have gone from Toddler to Teenager in a very short time’

Some of the top highlights of the last 2 years include :-

Opened two very successful shops

Homed almost 600 cats and kittens

Helped many hundreds of feral and community cats – neutering, medical help, shelter and food

Continued to increase our volunteer base to include more much needed fosterers and shop volunteers

This massive success brings with it its own challenges as we have filled the hole left when the large, corporate, resource and financially wealthy Cats Protection became inactive in the area.

In October we had our BIGGEST EVER monthly vet bill, mainly due to having funded the neutering of hundreds of feral and community cats from a number of very large colonies. Within these colonies we found sick cats and funded some essential medical issues such as eye extractions, dentals and other large operations – what do we do ?? – we can’t neuter a colony cat and put it back knowing that it is in pain.
