Story

In October 2023, Scotland competed in group D of the inaugural Amputee Football Nations League, taking on teams from Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Albania and the Netherlands. By finishing in the top three, not only did the Scotland lads win the hearts of the nation, but they secured their spot at the Amputee Football European Championships, taking place in France in June.

While the team enjoys annual support from the Scottish FA via Scottish Para-Football, and our amazing sponsor The Mackay Clinic, such a tournament presents huge additional costs in terms of the team's travel, insurance, transport, crutches, equipment. We still have to raise another £30,000 and are appealing to the generous public to get behind the boys and their campaign to get on the Road to the Euros!

About the charity

Amputee Football Association Scotland provides amputees and people with congenital limb differences in Scotland with opportunities to play football locally, nationally and internationally.
