Scottish Badgers is a small charity working hard to punch above its weight every day.

We have succesfully lobbied for changes in legislation to provide stronger legal protection for badgers; we've delivered award-winning community engagement initiatives; and we're currently undertaking a Scotland-wide citizen science project to estimate the current status of badgers in Scotland.

We provide support and advice to members of the public and other organisations in relation to badgers and we work closely with the relevant authorities to address badger persecution.

We do all this with a small team of four part-time staff supported by our dedicated Trustees, Advisors, Branch Coordinators, members and volunteers.

We do not receive 100% of our costs through our funders, so we rely heavily on the support and generosity of the public to keep our small charity going.
