An organisation providing a rehoming service for stray or unwanted cats and kittens. We also have a Moggies Retirement Village. We aim to encourage responsible pet ownership by offering advice on neutering, and cat care for all life stages. We receive no state funding.

Story

Shropshire Cat Rescue is a 100% volunteer run charity. Along with taking in strays, unwanted cats and rehoming them and looking after our elderly cats in the village we also provide a trap, neuter, release service. This include loaning out cat traps, covering the cost for the neutering of feral colonies and any treatment they require.

After years of constant use, some of our traps have become unfit for purpose, been lost or been broken. We are aiming to purchase more traps, along with transfer baskets to help get them to the vets, and restraining transfer baskets. Any extra funds raised would be used to help towards our neutering costs.

We receive no government funding, so any donations would be very much appreciated.
