Story
CHUMS is a charity dedicated to providing Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Support for children, young people and families by supporting the family as a whole.
Enabling positive and fulfilling lives by increasing emotional resilience in children, young people, families and communities. CHUMS needs to raise c£500,000 every year to operate their 5 charitable services. The demand for these has significantly increased during Covid due to more children and young people suffering from anxiety, low mood, self-harming, suicide and following this, the need for bereavement support.
CHUMS use a variety of ways to support children, young people and families, providing them with tools to understand and manage their emotions and situations better, through therapeutic services, support groups, a range of therapies alongside our Disability Friendship Scheme.
