Second Chance - Rehoming Project

Support The British Horse Society campaign to give horses a second chance by placing RSPCA rescued horses into BHS Approved Centres. This project is alleviating the terrible pressure of the horse crisis by providing fantastic homes for horses.

The British Horse Society (BHS) aim to protect and promote the interests of all horses and those who care about them. Our core foundations – education, welfare, access and safety – are more important than ever as they demonstrably make a difference to horses’ lives.

Story

Our Second Chance rehoming project is delivering a brighter future for horses who have suffered an unhappy past.

The number of horses being subjected to neglect is at an all-time high and rehoming centres are full.

Our partnership between with the RSPCA is helping both neglected horses and young people who are *NEET (not in education, employment or training). We are working to rehome rescued horses into BHS Approved Centres that are delivering the BHS Changing Lives through Horses programme where the horses can be rehabilitated alongside participants on the scheme.

This programme relies on public donations and grant funding. Please consider making a donation to start changing horses and young peoples lives.
