We are a small group of like-minded volunteers with a passion for the Akita breed including the Japanese Akita Inu and a dedication towards their health and welfare. We operate nationally and are totally self funded. All funds raised are directly put back into the rescue and used for the care, adoption and re homing of those Akitas in kennels under Second Chance Akita Rescue.

Story

Kylie and her mother, passionate animal lovers and committed supporters are taking their dedication to new heights—literally! They have decided to embark on an exhilarating skydiving adventure to raise funds and support for Second Chance Akita Rescue, a charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Akitas in need.

On the 30th of September, Kylie and her mother will fearlessly leap from a plane, soaring through the sky to make a difference in the lives of these incredible dogs. Her goal is to raise money to help provide medical care, shelter, and loving homes for Akitas who have been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated.

By supporting Kylie's skydiving campaign, you can be a part of this incredible journey and contribute to the well-being of these majestic creatures. Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of Akitas in need, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.

With your support, Second Chance Akita Rescue can continue its vital work of giving these loyal and loving dogs a second chance at a happy and fulfilling life.
