Buxton - SMH Group Stadium (26 miles)

Olly P, Oli B & Aaron from Chesterfield FC Community Trust are taking on the challenge of walking the length of a marathon in one day, from Buxton, via Bakewell, to the SMH Group Stadium, to raise vital funds for our Senior Spireites group.

Every penny raised will help provide our members with a coach trip to a Christmas market, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a festive day out together. Our Senior Spireites group supports people aged 55 and over, with our oldest participant being 92 years young. Many of our members live with long-term health conditions, while others experience loneliness and social isolation.

For many, our weekly sessions are the highlight of their week, providing friendship, laughter and a sense of belonging. Your support will help create special memories, reduce isolation and give our members something to look forward to this Christmas.
